Freedom and Trust
Off-lead socialisation for dogs who have earned their place in the pack.
By Invitation Only
Social Walks are for dogs who have been attending our Neutral Walks and have passed an assessment to demonstrate they are ready for off-lead interaction with the pack.
New to The Canine Mindset? Start with Neutral Walks
This is the goal. This is what we work towards.
Unlike a Neutral Walk, a Social Walk is about interaction. It is a professionally led session where dogs are allowed off-lead (or on long-lines) to communicate, interact, and explore together.
But this is not a usual walk in the park or a playdate.
warning A Walk in the Park
A free-for-all where bullying often goes unchecked, rude behaviour is ignored, and nervous dogs are overwhelmed.

What Makes Our Social Walks Different
We Monitor Body Language
I watch for subtle signs of discomfort or tension and intervene before issues escalate.
We Advocate for the Nervous
Every dog has an advocate. If your dog needs space, they get it.
We Interrupt the Rude Ones
Bullying behaviour is addressed immediately. No dog is allowed to dominate or intimidate.
Every Interaction is a Lesson
We ensure that every interaction is a positive learning experience for all dogs involved.
This is where your dog learns social skills in the real world, under guidance. It's structured to help your dog gain confidence and help you rebuild trust.

Social Walk FAQs
Common questions about our Social Walks
What is a Social Walk?
Social Walks are off-lead pack walks for dogs that have passed their assessment. This is where dogs get to practise positive social skills in a safe, managed environment — interacting freely with other dogs who have also earned their place in the group.
How much do Social Walks cost?
£18 per dog, per walk.
Can I join Social Walks without doing Neutral Walks and an assessment first?
No. Social Walks are by invitation only, for dogs that have completed Neutral Walks and passed their assessment. This process ensures every dog in the group is ready for off-lead interaction, which keeps everyone safe.
Are the dogs off-lead the whole time?
The walks are designed for off-lead interaction, but this is managed carefully. I assess the environment and the group dynamics, and there are moments where dogs may be put back on-lead as needed. Safety always comes first.
How do I find out about upcoming Social Walk dates?
All dates, times, locations, and updates are shared via a private WhatsApp group that you'll be invited to once you've passed your assessment and joined our Social Walks.
Think Your Dog is Ready?
If you have mastered neutrality and passed your assessment, welcome to the next level. All walk dates, locations, and updates are shared via a private WhatsApp group.
